Smiling Aesthetics

Smiling aesthetics comprise many concepts such as laminate veneers, zircon crowns, bridges and gum aesthetics.

Laminate Veneers

Laminate veneers are approximately 0.5-mm-thick porcelain films that resemble false nails. The veneers are attached to the outside surface of the teeth with bonding resins. The resins form an inseparable bond between the tooth and the porcelain. Although veneers are very thin, it is only possible to separate them from the tooth using the correct method and materials.

Porcelain veneers are the perfect method to provide the maximum aesthetic effect with the minimum of preparation. Laminates cannot be distinguished from natural teeth since they reflect light naturally and their color does not fade over time.

Laminates can be successfully applied to hide gaps between teeth and broken teeth, to cover unpleasant-looking fillings, to even out teeth of different sizes and lengths, if the patient is not happy with the form of his/her teeth, if the color of teeth has changed and if patients have crooked teeth but do not want an orthodontic treatment.
Advantages

Veneers are the most protective treatment since only very little tissue (0.5-0.7 mm) is removed from the tooth.
There is no need to have a tooth preparation and the treatment period is completed quickly over two or three sessions.
It is hard to distinguish veneers from natural teeth due to the structural properties of porcelain.
The color is stable.
Veneers do not separate from the tooth since they adhere with a special bonding resin.
The inside surface of the teeth is uncovered and therefore retains its natural feel to the tongue.
They can be made in the desired color, size and shape.
A unique model can be made to determine how the veneers will appear after they are completed. This is done without preparing the teeth.
Since they are made of high-technology porcelains, they are highly resistant to breaking and erosion.

Zircon Crown Bridges

A high-stability restoration may is possible with zircon-based full ceramic material. It is aesthetically perfect and highly resistant compared with other full-ceramic systems.
Its ability to reflect light makes this material desirable.
Zircon enables us to obtain aesthetics and function close to natural teeth since it is tissue-friendly, does not cause allergic reactions and is highly resistant.
It minimizes the time for the patient to get used to the prosthesis because it is light. As there is no transmission of heat, sensitivity after the preparation is minimal.
Zircon is the only material that is allowed for long bridges without a metal support. System with a resistance of 900 Mpa includes a light transmission feature, tissue compatibility and several different indications as well as highest physical values.
There are no aesthetic problems like those encountered with metal-based prosthesis.
Zirconium has been used in various parts of the body for different purposes, especially hip joints, without side effects.
It is also a healthy material that do not cause taste disorder, gum problems or halitosis.
The design and manufacture is computer aided and therefore reduces risk of error in the production phase of the prosthesis meaning They fit perfectly.
The gum protects its structural property for a long time due to the structural property of zirconium.
Color changes especially in the gum do not occur.
